Hosted by Charlie Clements this two-hour long show features the music of Cape Breton musicians such as, Rita MacNeil, John Allan Cameron, The Barra MacNeils, The Rankins, Minglewood and many more island favourites. Singer and songwriter, Charlie Clements was born and raised in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. He left home in the early seventies to see the world, traveling and performing all across North America including Nashville, Tennessee.
During the 1990’s, Charlie had a radio show in London, Ontario called East Coast Calling. Charlie moved back to Cape Breton in 2007 to bring his music home and now hosts the Cape Breton Kitchen Party every Saturday night here on The Coast 89.7.
