Hi there, I really enjoy your radio station here on the net. I just heard a really nice song that you played just before the 2pm news today, but didn't hear who sang it....darn it....lol...any chance you could write the title and who sang it on here??....It sounded like a Native song and it was in both languages....I loved it!

I grew up in St. Peter's and married a girl from Glace Bay. I have lived in Dartmouth for over 30 years. I recently discovered The Coast 89.7FM on my Bell/Aliant TV channel. I love the blend of music, especially the traditional Cape Breton flavor. Hey you just played John Allan. I now listen to the Coast everyday on-line while at work. Thanks.

My mother and I really enjoy Jukebox Saturday Night ,Sunday Brunch and the old country music on Sunday at 6pm.The hosts are entertaining and informative.We only wish this programming was available more than a few hours a week.

I'm in Alberta, CKOA fan as well as an avid Stan Rogers fan. I have been listening for about 2 months from my shared place on the Cape. I like your country edge and am requesting that you play some Ian Tyson from his Cowboyography or I Outgrew the Wagon disc. He would add a little more Canadian to your sound. Keep up the great tunes.

My first thought upon buying a laptop was "now I can listen to my father". The sound of his voice brings me back to a simpler time. I was always aware of his impact while my brother and I grew up in Sydney. I've had so many people tell me they remember his shows over the years that I realize their love and hunger to hear his voice and stories brought a simpler and more honest time for them as well. Thank you, dad. Thank you for sharing your life, your music and your stories...and thank you for the recent trip to Cape Breton, where the only thing brighter than me on a sunny day ... was you.

We stood for over an hour to show our respect for Sgt. MacNeil. As the motorcade passed by not a word was spoken.
You (The Coast) had a moment of silence followed by three songs.
It was the most touching moments I ever experienced.
The Coast is the only station worth listing to.
