We stood for over an hour to show our respect for Sgt. MacNeil. As the motorcade passed by not a word was spoken.
You (The Coast) had a moment of silence followed by three songs.
It was the most touching moments I ever experienced.
The Coast is the only station worth listing to.

The last time I heard Freeman was in 70/72, when I was posted at CFS Sydney with the Canadian Forces. Great then and great now, wonder if he remembers a old neighbour from Mira Road (Barney Peters) great memories! Can't wait for Sunday. Cheers fron BC.

Listening to you all the way from London, Ontario! FANTASTIC!!!! This is my first time listening today and I have saved this station to my favorites. I am actually sharing this with office staff and a couple have asked what station I was listening to - I told them and they had rave comments too!!! I love your music selections and your format. I was just in Cape Breton for the Vince Ryan hockey tournament -- I was a member of the women's team that travelled there from Los Angeles. It was my first time in Cape Breton but it won't be my last. I just found your station online and am enjoying the music. Cheers from California!

I hope you guys are getting back to normal!! What a great weekend and a super job with The Coast keeping us all informed and updated. The music was awesome and alot of different genres to keep us all connected and unique. I wanted to thank the station for interviewing Kendra Gale on Thursday afternoon. She enjoyed it and had a great weekend. We learned alot and had a blast. Sydney is a great place!
